I actually put in most of my points to it and feel pretty cheated by whoever messed up the count or cheated the system. Definitely broken trust.

Tried to point it out to the staff there but they did not seem to care at the booth.

@AllyeNohealani @pancakewaffley @SD_Comic_Con @Comic_Con @A24 I know exactly how they ran out, on Thursday, they did not have wristbands to pass out at the Sails Pavilion (some sort of mixup) so you were told to show the QR code at the booth.

If the original intention was to only let people on the shuttle into the theater, then why was there lines at the theater in the first place? Various workers at both AMC and A24 told people with wristbands to stand in a specific line.

@pancakewaffley @SD_Comic_Con @Comic_Con @A24 Here is the paper posted all over the badge pickup area. It is very hard to miss. Also inwas one of the first at the bus stop and thats why I was first in the theater. People who lined up at the theater just didn't listen

This is a documentation of the horrible experience I had at 2023 @Comic_Con for the @A24 "Talk to Me" screening. This has nothing to do with the directors and those who worked on the film, but with the horrible organization on part of A24. (1/22)

When I arrived at the wristband pickup, it was no longer set up. I also see you don't mention the original email where it cited multiple places you could pick up a wristband. Just because you were lucky enough to get in doesn't mean the communication was any less awful.

@pancakewaffley @Comic_Con @A24 Many people did NOT read the signs at the wristband pick up which clearly stated it was first come first serve because they opened an additional theater. while they did revise the times because it was a typo was 1pm but changed to 10pm. Seeing the schedule people should of known

@pancakewaffley @Comic_Con @A24 I also had a friend who "won" the screening through the #CCI portal.
#SDCC2023. Was transported for the screening and then couldn't see it as they had given her seat away. The situation was poorly run/ organized/executed. #A24 has something to answer for!

I think what happened is that they sent out this email to everyone who applied to the lottery, which was probably hundreds of people.

@pancakewaffley @SD_Comic_Con @Comic_Con @A24 This was bizarre. I had put all my sons points to this as well, but he didn't get it. On July 20th we got an email entitled: Surprise! You've been invited to A24s Talk ToMe Screening. He got his wristband around 1140am, and got in the shuttle line at 715pm.

This also ruined my con experience because the 12 points I submitted to the lottery for this event could have been put toward other events I could have actually attended instead of completely going to waste. (21/22)
