So X is launching NFL Gametime......a full-on football feed alongside the usual For You and Following timelines, running all the way through the 2027 Super Bowl.

You get game data, player stats, news, creator takes, and live scores in one place. It's clearly a play to deepen the NFL partnership and make the platform more appealing to advertisers again.

Because nothing says "trust us with your brand" like pigskin and real-time scoring🙃.

Jokes aside, it's a smart move......sports fans are loyal, and loyal users are exactly what X needs right now.

JUST IN: 🇰🇷Samsung unveils world's first 1,100Hz gaming monitor!!

Samsung introduced the Odyssey G6 at Gamescom...the first ever 1,100Hz gaming monitor. 27 inches, 1ms response time, aimed squarely at esports.

They also unveiled the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 with 4K and 680Hz at Full HD, plus a 49-inch OLED G9 and a 42-inch curved OLED G7. 1,100Hz is a ridiculous number.

I remember when 144Hz was the dream. We've come a long way.

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 'GTA VI' could take more than 80 hours to complete!

Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson apparently did a full playthrough of GTA VI and it clocked in at over 80 hours. That's the main story plus some optional stuff........not even 100% completion.

If this is accurate..... it's Rockstar's longest game yet. The game is finally dropping on November 19 for $79.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S after multiple delays.

Dayumm Eighty hours!! I love GTA but that's basically a part-time job.

Apple's "Surprise and Shine" event is set for September 9 and apparently we're getting the iPhone 18 Pro lineup plus Apple's first ever foldable iPhone.

There's also talk of:
1. Apple Watch Series 12
2. Watch Ultra 4 and
3. AirPods 5

The foldable rumored to be called iPhone Ultra is supposedly a book-style design with a titanium frame. And a $2,000 price tag? Two thousand dollars for a phone that folds😅...... I'll believe it when I see it, but my wallet already hurts!!

Cloudflare just squeezed 100TB of memory savings out of its 1.1.1.1 DNS resolver by shrinking each cache entry from 953 bytes down to 420. They pulled it off with five Rust-level optimizations......replacing growable vectors, consolidating lists, cutting redundant record owners, boxing large enum variants, and storing records in wire format.

The payoff? 58% fewer memory allocations, 43% faster insert throughput, and 19% lower lookup latency. That's the kind of engineering that actually makes you want to learn Rust.

Elon Musk plans to build the Biggest Launch Site on Earth for 30 space flights a day!!!!

SpaceX is dropping $100 billion on a new launch site in Louisiana. Musk is calling it "Starbase Louisiana" and says it'll have over a dozen launch towers.......enabling more than 30 Starship flights per day.

That would make it the biggest launch site on Earth. Construction starts in 2027.......first launch targeted for 2029. Thirty flights a day from one site.

Either this is the beginning of us becoming a multi-planet species or the most expensive fireworks show in history. Probably both😄

JUST IN: 🇺🇸NVIDIA's revenue surges to nearly $100 billion as CEO declares 'GOLDEN AGE' of AI....

NVIDIA just posted 96.22 billion in Q2 revenue.....more than double last year and well above the ~92 billion Wall Street expected.

Jensen Huang is calling this the "Golden Age" of AI and says that the demand is only accelerating. The company is already projecting $108 billion for Q3. For context, this is the world's most valuable company right now. The AI money train isn't slowing down..... if anything, it's picking up speed!!!

Wi-Fi 8 has given up on the speed marketing war and is finally addressing what everyone actually complains about....spotty connections, lag and interference in crowded areas.

It's keeping Wi-Fi 7's theoretical peak speed but targeting real-world throughput, lower latency, packet loss reduction and better handoffs between access points.

The IEEE expects finalization in 2028. So no.... your router won't get faster numbers on the box but it might actually work in your apartment building.

So some strategist is warning that stocks are on the brink of a 20% plunge thanks to climbing bond yields. Higher yields make borrowing more expensive, squeeze corporate profits and pull capital away from riskier assets.

It's the same old story.....rates go up, stocks get nervous. But 20%? That's not a dip......that's a proper wrecking ball. Buckle up!
