@HsanC_ Congrats! I'm curious, if you had to start from zero today, would you still invest in all those channels, or double down on just one until product-market fit
Every side project teaches something.
One improved my backend skills.
Another taught me UI.
The latest one is forcing me to learn distribution.
Sometimes the product isn't the outcome.
The person you become is.
@Aditya_181105 Being able to throw a huge codebase at the model without constantly worrying about token limits is a pretty compelling reason on its own
Today wasn't a big launch.
No viral post.
No new customers.
No milestone.
Just a few small improvements that future me will appreciate.
Progress compounds quietly.
A lot of bugs disappear once you stop trying to be clever.
Simple code is usually easier to debug, easier to extend, and easier to trust.
I'm learning that every week.
Building solo means context switching all day.
Backend in the morning.
UI after lunch.
Bug fixes at night.
Marketing before bed.
It's exhausting sometimes, but seeing everything come together is what keeps me going.
@beka_saparbek This is actually the first day I've come across your journey. I'm curious—did these results come after 179 days of building, or was there a much longer journey before that? I'm just getting started myself, so it's always helpful to understand the full timeline.
Spent more time deleting code than writing it today.
The first version solved the problem.
The second made it reusable.
The third made it understandable.
Clean code isn't about fewer lines.
It's about making tomorrow easier than today.
@GohilHardy Revenue. Not because it's the only metric that matters, but because paying users usually give the highest quality feedback. Everything else gets much easier once you know people are willing to open their wallets
@marclou I can relate to this. "Stay focused" is great advice until it starts killing the curiosity. The trick seems to be having one clear value proposition while letting yourself experiment around it. Some of the best features come from those side explorations.
