తమ కుమార్తె చదువుకు అండగా నిలవాలని దాతలను వేడుకుంటున���న తల్లిదండ్రులు.

సత్తుపల్లి పట్టణ పరిధిలోని గుడిపాడుకు చెందిన నాయకపోడు గిరిజన దంపతులు రాజిని ప్రసాద్, నాగమణి కుమార్తె శివభార్గవి..

రెక్కాడితేగానీ డొక్కాడని కుటుంబంలో జన్మించిన శివభార్గవి ఖమ్మంలోని అంబేడ్కర్ సాంఘిక సంక్షేమ బాలికల జూనియర్ గురుకుల కళాశాలలో 2020లోనే ఇంటర్ (బైపీసీ) పూర్తి చేసింది.

అదే ఏడాది నీట్ పరీక్ష రాసి కేటగిరీ విభాగంలో ర్యాంక్ సాధించినా వైద్యవిద్య చదివేందుకు కావల్సిన కనీస పరిస్థితులు లేక విరమించుకుంది.

కానీ ఎలాగైనా తన జీవిత లక్ష్యాన్ని నెరవేర్చుకోవాలని భావించి తల్లిదండ్రులను ఒప్పించి మళ్లీ నీ���్ ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష రాసింది. కోచింగ్ సెంటర్లకు వెళ్లి కుస్తీపడితే తప్ప ప్రవేశం దొరకని కోర్సులో సీటు కోసం ఇంట్లోనే ఉంటూ యూట్యూబ్ తరగతుల సాయంతో సిద్ధమైంది.

ఈ ఏడాది నీట్లో స్టేట్ ర్యాంకు 7,146, ఎస్టీ కేటగిరీ ర్యాంకు 567 సాధించింది. రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా చేవెళ్లలో డాక్టర్ పట్నం మహేంద���్ రెడ్డి మెడికల్ కళాశాలలో శివభార్గవికి సీటు వచ్చింది.

'ఏ' కేటగిరీ విభాగంలో ఏడాదికి రూ.2.5 లక్షల చొప్పున వైద్యవిద్యకు దాదాపు రూ. 12.5 లక్షలు అవసరమవుతాయి. రీయింబర్స్ రూపంలో చాలా స్వల్ప మొత్తంలోనే మినహాయింపు ఉంటుంది.

ఈ నేపథ్యంలో చదువుకోవాలన్న బిడ్డ తపనను చూస్తున్న తల్లిదండ్రులు ఏం చేయాలో తోచ స్థితిలో కుమిలిపోతున్నారు.

కళాశాల రుసుములు, మెటీరియల్స్, పుస్తకాల కొనుగోలుకు సాయం అందించి తమ కుమార్తె చదువుకు అండగా నిలవాలని దాతలను వేడుకుంటున్నారు.
