This “we are Gen Z” has become the new “jaantay nahin ho mera baap kaun hai”. The quickest way to erode any Gen Z goodwill is to start using it as a threat at the slightest perceived affront.
Shocked at the arrest order against Revered MahaTyagini MahaSanyasini MahaDurga Smt Rt Hon’ble @MahuaMoitra Ji. Does India think it can arrest an English speaking, foreign educated, foreign return, JP Morgan executive? I will stage a Dance Protest at Jantar Mantar.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay @TVKVijayHQ is proving to be extraordinarily sophisticated in his political movements. Despite being a "newbie" in politics, he is showing consummate finesse in his interactions with other parties, the Centre & others not necessarily aligned with his views.
Vijay is emerging as one of the few "post-ideological" leaders in India who brings a freshness to a jaded context and a stale discourse. He is bound to inspire youngsters for a long time to come!

What disgusts me most about this entire episode is the statement, “My taxes pay your salaries.”
What exactly does that mean? That because you pay taxes, you believe our soldiers are your paid staff — answerable to you personally, obligated to tolerate your arrogance, and somehow beneath you?
Let me remind you of something.
Our soldiers do not work for you. They serve the nation.
Your taxes, my taxes and every citizen’s taxes contribute to running this country. But no amount of money can buy the courage, commitment and sacrifice of the men and women who stand guard at our borders, often in the most brutal conditions, so that the rest of us can live our lives in safety.
And when you enter a highly sensitive forward area near Ladakh, being stopped by the Army is not some petty inconvenience imposed upon you. It is their duty to ensure the security of the nation — a duty they perform regardless of who you are.
The arrogance of reducing that service to “I pay your salary” is not just obnoxious; it reflects a shocking ignorance of what our armed forces actually do for this country.
Many of our soldiers have paid the ultimate price with their lives. They didn't ask whether the people they protected were taxpayers. They didn't ask what anyone's social status was. They simply stood their ground and did their duty.
So before lecturing a soldier about whose taxes pay his salary, perhaps understand this:
You may contribute money to the nation through your taxes. Our soldiers contribute something far more precious — their youth, their courage, their separation from their families, and sometimes their very lives.
My deepest respect and gratitude to every member of our armed forces.
They are not anyone's paid staff. They are the guardians of our nation. 🇮🇳
Jai Hind.

For the first time ever, clean energy capacity in India has taken the top spot. That’s a 12x expansion over 25 years.
Everyone’s talking about the environmental side of this shift, & that is big, of course, but I think the real story here is grid sovereignty.
Scaling renewables at this pace moves energy away from being a volatile, imported commodity & turns it into a domestic advantage.
When 1.4 billion people pivot their base energy capacity toward clean power, it completely redefines energy security.
Huge milestone for India’s power landscape, & an even bigger blueprint for the rest of the world.
One of the best interviews. No eminent face leaving a prominent position in the party has left with contnuing loyalty for its principles. Shiv's probe of Shehzad to find out if there was a hidden reason for his exit failed. Congrats @Shehzad_Ind
Who is ruling Maharashtra?
What kind of joke is this, @Dev_Fadnavis? Can anyone just enter any government school like this? Who is responsible for the safety of the students?
I’ve been thinking about @narendramodi’s “dimagi naxal” comment. And it’s true. The physical movement has been destroyed but the mental disease has mutated & reached epidemic proportions.
• Naxalism was, is and will remain a mentality
• some amongst this violent mentality chose to take up arms
• others chose to incite others to take up arms - armchair generals and ideologues
• Charu Majumdar of course did both
• Charu was from a rich landlord family
• most of the Naxal leadership have traditionally been from well off families with a romanticised view of “oppression & liberation”.
• the latest generations are worse - their world view is formed by instagram reels.
• in Charu’s time you had to physically go to banks, deposit cheques, pick up your pay, walk to the market.
• in this day and age everything enables sit at home indolence - be it Zomato, Blinkit, UPI, zoom etc etc.
• The generations born into this indolent digital world, now dream of becoming “content creators” who inspire others to “liberation” while they enjoy their cushy life and earnings. Essentially Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/Youtube Charu Majumdars
• which is why since physical naxalism has been exterminated, the need is to deal with mental naxals & the filth they spread.
• if we don’t deal with this urgently, then we risk a new wave of violent physical naxalism. Remember the first wave of Majumdar Naxalism was defeated, but in the 2000s they resurrected after a gap of 20 years and controlled almost 1/3rd of India.
• Like all viruses this was a mutated naxalism. Since India’s approach to naxalism was the classic triangle: security, rehabilitation & development. They attacked development
• notice every chance at development: nuclear plants, farm laws, infrastructure, they attack through “civil society” groups.
• this is not to say all opposition is illegitimate (I for example am dead set against this environmentally, economically & strategically, ill-conceived Nicobar project)
• but the fact remains that most opposition to development comes from the same people crying themselves hoarse about a lack of development.
• these aren’t physical naxals, they’re mental naxals. They perpetuate and worsen the inequality that leads to desperation that then leads to physical naxals.
• they obviously couch everything they do and say, in terms of “democracy” “oppression” etc etc. but be aware of who and what they are: plague carrying vermin- devious and smart enough to know the truth - manipulative enough to make you believe their yarns.
• Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, I and deserve everything that comes my way.
• Beware the “liberator” disguised as a “content creator”
‘We are GenZs, we are shit at speaking English (or taking care of our health), but we will yell in English thinking it will somehow shield our stupidity.’
If Army allows this stupidity, we will have another Pahalgam because terrorists are waiting for these fucktards everyday to create nuisance.
Supreme Court rushed for elections, a domain that must only rest with @PMOIndia and 26 Hindu males were killed in cold blood. Some of those fathers must have had GenZ daughters.
This hippo must ask herself: Is your tourism worth your life?
The moment any shit goes wrong, the same morons will stage another protest: What was Army doing.
All they need is a good arsewhipping.
27 GW added in six months, up 49% from last year. Gujarat and Rajasthan carrying most of it, cumulative solar's now past 162 GW.
Bigger picture: less coal burned for daytime power, less money leaving the country for oil and gas imports. Every GW of solar is one less GW we're buying from someone else.
Keep this pace up and this year beats last year's record easily.
"Our problems are not his concern. It is not my habit to complain about our issues to ambassadors of another country. Our problems will not be resolved by Washington but by our own government", Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on meeting with US Amb Sergio Gor later today
Good news. We now have surpluses in public funds. Gone are the days when the funds were squandered away and nobody knew where the money went.
But yes, some should still get an explanation why the fund is posting huge surpluses and why it's saving for a big emergency & disaster.
