This was my neighborhood when I lived in SD. A diverse community, one I am grateful to have been a part of. When our government spews hate and uplifts racists it’s not surprising but incredibly heartbreaking nonetheless.

You would think I learned my lesson, but my brain clearly still thinks I can cope pre-therapy.
One lesson I will never forget: all dog movies, just a blanket nope.

There’s a thing that happens watching sad movies pre and post-therapy.
Pre: “Wow, so moving. I felt things.”
Post: “So this is why everyone says they are forever changed. I am puffy-faced & sobbing, eternally traumatized.”
Current rewatch turned trauma: Beaches.

What’s really upsetting is when you’re looking to replace your worn out band tee from 16 years ago (frame the OG obviously)…and the description says “vintage”. Difficult to admit I’m an old. Also if anyone has the Tegan & Sara yellow tee from The Con tour, please reach out.
