Our latest Claude Code hackathon is officially a wrap.
500 builders spent a week exploring what they could do with Opus 4.6 and Claude Code.
Meet the winners:
We've raised $13 billion at a $183 billion post-money valuation.
This investment, led by @ICONIQCapital, will help us expand our capacity, improve model capabilities, and deepen our safety research.
First ‘Made in India’ Chips!
A moment of pride for any nation. Today, Bharat has achieved it. 🇮🇳
This significant milestone was made possible by our Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji’s far-sighted vision, strong will and decisive action.
I have been using Flipkart minutes for a while now..and the experience is too good including pricing, delivery & packaging. Not sure why @amazonIN has not pulled similar model as if now but instamart / blinkit / bbnow have a tough competitor.
We’ve developed Claude for Chrome, where Claude works directly in your browser and takes actions on your behalf.
We’re releasing it at first as a research preview to 1,000 users, so we can gather real-world insights on how it’s used.
Setting up a factory in Kerala during the 90s was industrial suicide.
Most factories were shut down by union strikes.
But one Parachute oil factory ran 30 years without a single disruption.
The secret? A genius HR idea copied from your school’s sports day.
Here’s how it worked:

ना सरकार कुत्तों को स्टरलाइज करेगी,
ना सुप्रीम कोर्ट कुत्तों को शेल्टर भेने का आदेश देगी
बच्चे मरते रहेंगे, रेबीज फैलता रहेगा, क्योंकि ना सरकार के लोग ना सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जजस सड़कों में चलते हैं, ना उनके बच्चे।
गरीब लोग मरने के लिए ही पैदा हुए हैं।
Go 1.25 is out, and the announcement says:

Excited to make our best AI tools free for college students in the US + other select countries for a year - and to provide $1B in funding for education + research, including free AI and career training for every college student in America.
It’s good in some cases and pretty bad in most.
For me it works only if there’s an option to chat with agent as an alternative.
Example- Recently had issues with jiomart but couldn’t resolved via chat and agent option was not there so have to called up.
But similar experience with big basket was fine as they had the chat with agent available if you’re stuck.
Intense rainfall over New York caused severe flooding in the city, sending water gushing into a subway train platform as authorities issued several flash flood warnings across the New York City metropolitan area
This seems to be a great offer from google for 1 year free access for students 18+

Introducing Kiro, an all-new agentic IDE that has a chance to transform how developers build software.
Let me highlight three key innovations that make Kiro special:
1 - Kiro introduces spec-driven development, helping developers express their intent clearly through natural language specifications and architecture diagrams for complex features. This comprehensive context helps Kiro’s AI agents deliver better results with fewer iterations.
2 - Kiro features intelligent agent hooks that automatically handle critical but time-consuming tasks like generating documentation, writing tests, and optimizing performance. These hooks work in the background, triggered by events like saving files or making commits. It’s like having an experienced developer constantly reviewing your work and handling the maintenance tasks that often get delayed.
3 - Kiro provides a purpose-built interface that adapts to how developers work. Whether you prefer chat interactions or working with specifications, Kiro supports your workflow while keeping you in control of the development process.
Kiro is really good at "vibe coding" but goes well beyond that. While other AI coding assistants might help you prototype quickly, Kiro helps you take those prototypes all the way to production by following a mature, structured development process out of the box. This means developers can spend less time on boilerplate code and more time where it matters most – innovating and building solutions that customers will love.
Starting today, Kiro is available for free during preview and supports most popular programming languages.
Here’s how to get started with @kirodotdev today: https://t.co/Ne5m2Nh4wC
Excited to see how developers use Kiro, and to work with the developer community to continue to shape Kiro moving forward.
