Is this the case or what is the way to get information on this.
(wget-ing feeds from other IPs in the same data center works fine).

Thanks to the nice people from @wirkstoffradio, who told us, that the thumbnail image links are all broken! They are now fixed and 2,515,449 thumbnails will be served correctly from now on again.

Dear Podcasters: If you change the guids of your episodes in your feeds without need, you delete also all references on podcasts platforms to these episodes, e.g. likes, recommendations, ...

If you suggest a podcast, make sure, that you really do put the url of the RSS feed in the field "Rss feed url".
An arbitrary link to the podcast on a different podcast hosting platform is not of any use for the feed parser.

The "big front end rewrite" June last year was a mediocre disaster ;-)
After 5 weeks or so, I was maybe 30% in and relized, that I was in the progress of writing my own CSS-framework (instead of theme). I stopped and realized, that it was a lot likeTailwind.css, but ...

... a lot worse. I shrugged, because I didn't like Tailwind and stopped.

In the last months, though, I learned Tailwind.css as well as Alpine.js and Phoenix LiveView, three technologies, that will bring Panoptikum forward. The big frontend rewrite is now a big Panoptikum ...

Typically we just ignore these errors and skip the images, but today I looked into it in more detail. Roughly 5% of all episode images linked in podcast feeds are broken: Access permission denied, broken link, corrupt file headers, wrong file extensions, just to name a few.
