Week 4: Our coaches are prepared and know where our athletic facility AEDs are, because we send and discuss our Emergency Action Plans (EAP) yearly. When you’re at a venue, look around and take note of the nearest AED, it could save a life!! @ILAthTrainers#ATSafeSports
Week 3: Last night under the Friday Night Lights we mixed some “Blurple” Gatorade. Gatorade is packed with electrolytes needed for hydration. Sodium, potassium to name a couple. #ATSafeSports@ILAthTrainers

Mr. Steinkuehler and I have our athletic teams prepared for tonight. We had to improvise and get water and ice a different way due to the boil order.
Week 1 of #SafetyInSports is all about equipment fitting. The Riddell SpeedFlex has 5 air pockets that can be adjusted for each player. Also, the bottom chin straps pull like a zip-tie. Convenience is key, but safety is most important! @ILAthTrainers@JCHSAthletics
