On June 19, Strong #Armenia bloc sent a statement to the Constitutional Court demanding either to cancel the voting results or to schedule a 2nd round of #elections. The bloc insists - the June 7 elections were accompanied by massive violations & repression by the authorities.
The New Force party of former Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan has submitted an application to the Constitutional Court demanding that the results of the parliamentary #elections in #Armenia be declared invalid.
Nikol Pashinyan has linked the June 14 Grigoryan-Hajiyev meeting in Dilijan to the June 7 election results, claiming it was necessary to “manage” a war threat allegedly created by opposition voters.
He accused over 500,000 voters, without presenting evidence, of backing opposition forces because of vote-buying and foreign influence, while suggesting their votes could be seen as support for reviving the Artsakh movement, returning to Karabakh, or pursuing “sea-to-sea Armenia.”
However, none of the main opposition forces campaigned on such a platform. The remarks are an attempt to discredit hundreds of thousands of opposition voters by framing legitimate electoral dissent as a security threat.
BREAKING: Six opposition political forces have issued a joint statement rejecting the official results of Armenia’s June 7 parliamentary elections, arguing that the vote was marred by systemic violations that undermined the integrity of the electoral process.
The statement, signed by the Strong Armenia Alliance, Armenia Alliance, Prosperous Armenia Party, Bright Armenia Party, Armenian National Congress, and National Democratic Pole, asserts that the official results do not reflect the true will of the Armenian people and cannot serve as the basis for forming a legitimate government that enjoys the confidence of the majority of citizens.
The six political forces cited what they described as the widespread use of administrative resources, political persecution of opposition figures and activists, obstruction of opposition campaign headquarters, abuse of state and pro-government media resources, and irregularities in vote counting and the invalidation of polling station results.
The signatories also warned that responsibility for any future escalation of the political situation in Armenia rests with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government.
The statement comes one week after parliamentary elections that resulted in a victory for the ruling Civil Contract Party, which secured a parliamentary majority according to official results certified by the Central Electoral Commission.

@NikolPashinyan@ArmAmbUS@realDonaldTrump What's the example of a "historic deal"? The so-called "TRIPP" (Zangezur Corridor), meaning the surrender of southern Armenia to American control to be used against Iran and Russia?

Who Is Running Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission?
The institution responsible for administering and overseeing Armenia’s elections is currently headed by Vahagn Hovakimyan, who has served as Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission since October 2022.
While the Commission is expected to function as an independent body, Hovakimyan’s political and professional background reflects longstanding ties to Armenia’s current ruling establishment.
A brief overview of his career:
• Born in Yerevan on June 30, 1974.
• Worked for years as a journalist, including at Haykakan Zhamanak, a publication closely linked to Nikol Pashinyan.
• Served as Pashinyan’s parliamentary assistant from 2012 to 2015.
• Became a member of the governing Civil Contract Party’s Board in 2016.
• Was elected to Armenia’s National Assembly on the Civil Contract ticket in both the 2018 and 2021 parliamentary elections.
• In October 2022, he was appointed Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission by the National Assembly following his nomination by the ruling Civil Contract faction.
The appointment placed a longtime ally of the governing party at the helm of the institution responsible for organizing and certifying Armenia’s elections, a reality that continues to raise questions among critics regarding the perceived independence of the country’s electoral oversight system.

Combien d’humiliations ?
Another recount has confirmed a major discrepancy between polling station protocols and figures published on the Central Election Commission's website.
Following a recount at polling station 27/7, the "Prosperous Armenia" Party was confirmed to have received 77 votes. The CEC website, however, had recorded just 1 vote for the party.
The finding follows a similar discrepancy at polling station 27/26, where a recount confirmed 19 votes for "Prosperous Armenia" despite the CEC website listing only 3.
Taken together, the two recounts alone add 92 votes to the party's total.
The discrepancies are particularly significant because the "Prosperous Armenia" Party initially missed the parliamentary threshold by only a few dozen votes. The party, along with several other political forces, has argued that figures published on the CEC website do not match polling station protocols and that these discrepancies may have affected the final allocation of parliamentary seats.

Regardless of how many times you keep repeating it, calling it a "Jewish state" does not make it one.

❕🇦🇲🗳️“We categorically reject the announced results”: Wings of Unity has claimed that the elections were falsified.
The political force said it is convinced that the ruling party did not actually receive the level of support attributed to it in the official results, and that votes cast for Wings of Unity were falsified.
According to the statement, the electoral process was accompanied from the very beginning by unprecedented abuse of administrative resources by the authorities. The party said citizens were widely pressured to attend government rallies under threat of dismissal, something Wings of Unity had already reported earlier.
The party also said the entire campaign by the authorities was accompanied by insults and hate speech, leaving citizens without the opportunity to understand and assess the content of the election programs.
