Biren singh, CM, Murder, Sedition, Injustice, Terror Link, abuse of Constitutional Position & Misuse of State Machinary.

In 2011, N.Ajay Meitei,son of disgraced CM N.Biren singh murdered Irom roger,19 in cold blood near Imphal Airport simply because roger wouldn't give way to Ajay's vehicle.
In any normal circumstances involving common citizens,the penalty for murder according to IPC 302 would be death or life imprisonment but Ajay being the son of Biren was awarded 5 years Jail term for Murder.

The CBI, investigating the case sought the Maximum penalty & most stringent sentence for Murder but the Local court refused it outrightly & ruled that Ajay was guilty under Section 304 Part II (culpable homicide not amounting to murder),not under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC because there was no intention to kill.

The injustice did not stop there. Lawyers after lawyers representing Roger's family were threatened by Meitei Terrorists, harassed by manipur police at the behest of Biren to the point where not a single lawyer in the state were willing or were too afraid to represent them. Manipur police often harassed the victim's family as well. So, Human Rights activists took it upon themselves to fight for roger & arranged a lawyer,Bains to represent them.

Birjit,relative of the victim was abducted from his house in the middle of the night for picking up the lawyer from the airport by Manipur police accusing him of being a maoist.
The abduction was part of the pressure tactics by the CM & State Machinery which also consistently disconnected power supply to the victim's home & others supporting their cause.
Their lawyer also received multiple death threats from various Meitei & Tangkhul Terrorists groups like PLA & NSCN-IM,who had close link to Biren.
The lawyer wrote peitions to the Union Home secretary & PM to provide them with security after multiple death threats,other human rights activists too were threatened.

The parents,camping in Delhi to escape harassment also said they were being pressurised into meeting Biren for "settlement of the case".
They moved SC fearing for their lives,their lawyer filed a plea too, seeking protection from the state machinery which was acting in an "arbitrary & illegal manner" at the behest of CM, who was also the home minister.

A bench of SC Justices ruled that, "Nobody would dare makes such allegation against a CM without reason. They're asking for protection & they should be given."

"It is submitted that the State machinery is acting in a high handed,illegal biased & arbitrary manner. There has been a complete denial of access to justice to them as when they approached lawyers in the HC of Manipur. The victims are being continuously threatened & victimize at the behest of CM Biren. The situation in the state is politically charged & hostile towards them & they're unable to approach the HC. CM Biren by abusing his official position & using his connection with (Meitei & Tangkhul) Terrorists is obstructing freedom & Justice enshrined in the Constitution & the right to life & liberty the petitioners & their family members are being abrogated not only arbitrarily but also illegally at the behest of CM Biren," petitioner said.

Biren has also revealed that He brought back Meitei Terrorists PLA, UNLF preepak, KYKL & others from Myanmar & made them join forces with Manipur Police in the "frontlines" during the conflict as evidenced by Manipur Tapes)

The SC entrusted the family's security, earlier provided by Manipur police to CRPF to ensure free & fair appeal proceedings in Gauhati HC & asked CRPF to also provide security to social activist Binalakshmi & Chandigarh police to provide security to Chandigarh-based advocate Bains,who has taken up the case. "We are doing this in the peculiar facts of this case," said the Three Judge Bench.
