@RagnarsMommy@covie_93 Unfortunately both sides look unhinged from the perspective of those who can step back from all the hostility. The tone of your post is no different. Us versus them is so far off from generative discourse. We are sad to see what is happening to our beloved neighbours.
@OneBadDude_ Americans came to like cheaper prices for things and companies liked bigger profits. We will see how the economics of all this plays out. Also, this current generation is not exactly raised on hustle as much as social media brain rot. We will see how the void will be filled.
@Pager1957@HomanNews@Pager1957 what alternate universe have you been living in for so long that you have been enveloped by crazy conspiracy theories and deluded echo chambers. As someone in the middle it is so evident that this is the most flawed man to ever be granted office. SO CLEAR
@Jim_Jordan Has there ever been a person more unworthy of the office. You voted in a terrible human! Should he not be held accountable for it at every turn?
@LongIslandDawn@AmoneyResists@MotherJones Nope. If there was incriminating evidence on both Democrats and Trump you bet they would both be motivated to suppress. Epstein collected leverage on many political figures
@cigar1972@AmoneyResists@MotherJones Once it was clear to Trump that Epstein already had the dirt on him. He recorded everything that happened on his island
@4AugustWest@AmoneyResists@MotherJones Nope- it is just that it would be incriminating to both Democrats and Trump. Remember Trumps interview when asked if he would release the JFK files, etc and NO hesitation in saying yes. When it came to the Epstein files - the pause and then the response about ruining lives…
@FFT1776 No one likes to expose themselves for having been wrong. The MAGA folks who are truly hurting are not going to come on here easily and say they voted for their own misery. People defend against feelings of shame or regret.
I also hear the pride in doing one’s best vs complaining
@Matt_Edward03@FFT1776 That is some cynical historical ignorance right there. There does need to be some reform with it - learn about how Scandinavian counties take care of their more vulnerable citizens? Have you studied what was actually happening in 1930s America? It was created w compassion
@bennyjohnson Or the loopholes could be tightened so that corporations and billionaires would pay their fair share. I do agree some reform at the poverty policy level is needed, but the disparity has never been higher.
@C_3C_3 He is BREAKING THE LAW on a constant basis and pushing against the checks and balances your government has in place to guard against wannabe dictators like Trump at an unprecedented rate. Hence the substantial rise in injunctions. Big picture perspective please
@Bubblebathgirl@AdamKinzinger I’m on a campaign for conversation beyond the binary black and white, good and bad, left and right, red and blue. Can you hear this poster’s point that for him it felt nothing like a war zone and that Chicago deserves a better international reputation AND express crime concerns
What’s that argument again, guns don’t kill people, people kill people? The proliferation of guns is the strongest correlation to this exponential increase in mass shootings. https://t.co/2sZhiCC5Eb
