@Sukraine @JohnLewisEU Brexit was a symptom of the problem. Between January 2021 and December 2025, approximately 4.7 million legally and illegally entered the UK. Under domestic and international law, the UK has the absolute right to set its own laws and immigration policies. Why hasn't it done it?

@andrewc44104127 Wrong! They stopped throwing excrement out of windows in the 1500s–1600s. Only 200 years out. Modern sewerage began appearing in some African cities, particularly those under European colonial rule. Cape Town, for example, developed sewerage infrastructure during the 1800's.
