@FLAWLESSGREEDY@JarrodPike@Selfmade8790@Bseyl2003 It’s not Texas that’s going to be the problem. It’s going to be smaller schools trying to keep up with Texas that pour all their money into football. You already have smaller schools cutting sports. Thousands of kids are going to not get college scholarships because of football.
@dallasgrills@ElGu4po33@DavidMulugheta Actually the argument is you’re getting less developed players because transferring more than once is a pretty good liklihood that you aren’t actually developing. And there are no rules because the courts keep striking them down.
@ChrisVannini@Dawgs198@AriWasserman And Texas would have most likely played in one of those first round games if they hadn’t have played Ohio State and instead have scheduled a cupcake. All the committee and media see is the the number in the loss column with absolutely no context.
@JakeCrain_ I agree that if Notre Dame is ranked in the top 12, they should be in the playoff. I just think everyone else in the top 12 should be too. What a joke of a sport this is becoming.
@CFBNerds Alabama grad here. This is so stupid. There are no rules in college athletics as long as you’re willing to go to court over it. College sports might be cooked.
@CFBNerds I know Indiana’s roster is older, but how much older was it on average than the other playoff teams? How much was their roster affected by eligibility rule changes with the free year of eligibility from Covid in 2020 and junior college players getting 2 more years?
@Pammadonna It’s not a catch until he completes the process of the catch. He’s going to the ground as the ball is hitting his hands. He has to survive the ground. He’s got to have that ball when he comes to a stop. He doesn’t. Ball doesn’t hit the ground though. INT.
@jasonrmcintyre It’s different rules because one person has possession of the ball and the other is still establishing possession. You can’t be ruled down until you establish possession. If you’re falling/diving as you begin the catch process, you need to be able to get up off the ground w/ball.
@danorlovsky7 You have to have possession first to be down by contact. He’s going to the ground as he starts to catch the ball, therefore he has to survive the ground to have possession. Which means he basically needs to come to a rest still holding the ball. He doesn’t. Ball comes out. INT.
@CFBNerds These guys think that Alabama only won because they think Saban paid players. They also think that other programs were too stupid or too virtuous to figure out how to pay players under the table without getting caught. Now they throw out mountains of cash.
@TheHerdBros There’s also:
7-1 SEC team
7-1 SEC team
6-2 SEC team
4-4 SEC team
It’s 4 wins under average. A conference can only go 0.500 against itself…..
