In less than two years I've gone from sleeping in shop doorways and eating out of bins whilst off my head on crack and heroin to having a roof over my head, being clean of all drugs including alcohol, volunteering at my local animal sanctuary and feeling like I have a purpose.

@Andy__Brooke @IACartroom @NataliePacker @sencochat I totally agree. I told my HT that I feel I am always battling against something (sometimes I’m not even sure what!) His response was that ‘we are all doing an impossible job’ which wasn’t the least bit helpful or supportive... ☹️

@NataliePacker It’s good to know other people can relate to how I’m feeling. I agree that the difference SENCOs make can have a huge impact on children and their families, I maybe just need to refocus on the things I have done rather than the things I’ve found more challenging to put in place.
