@Timmysofine Yes to all of these, especially genetic testing! Even tho I have no family history of it, I'm a silent carrier of thalassemia. Fortunately my husband doesn't have it, so our children are healthy, but we will check if they are carriers too

@Romy_Holland @julian_le_roux You definitely do not want emergency surgery of any kind. If your labor stalls and your drs start floating the idea of doing a C-section, just do it. Don't wait for it to become an emergency.

@Romy_Holland @julian_le_roux I think it depends on whether or not it's an emergency C-section. My first C-section was unplanned but not an emergency and the recovery for me was super fast and easy. My second was planned and it was even easier.
