Austin decided to not do any more "giveaways" like tax abatements to Dell. So, Dell moved to Round Rock.
Round Rock, Hutto, Pflugerville, Georgetown, etc, all exploded economically.
This will put bodegas out of business. Bodegas can't compete with entities that aren't dependent on turning a profit. This would be socialism run wild. They're already operating on thin margins. The new competitor won't have to worry about the market like the thousands of NYC bodegas do. Instead of driving bodegas out of business, work with them—help them expand their food offerings and run a public education campaign on the importance of healthy eating and how bodegas are a critical part of the community.
