Yes, illegal immigrants can rent cars with a driver’s license. Many states do not check visa status. They can obtain gig work in many ways, including via identity theft, family, and renting accounts. I work daily alongside many such temporary workers using gig apps (like Instawork) in the hospitality industry. It’s hard to get hired formally without the right papers, but gig apps have different, lower standards. And you can obtain new accounts if banned. Many, many illegal immigrants drive for Uber. Why do you accuse me of ignorance when you seem unaware of these basic facts?
