DG ISPR calls Indian-administered Kashmir the world’s biggest garrison.
In the last four months, Pakistani forces killed more than 90 Kashmiris in the Kashmir they administer Rawalakot, Mirpur, Muzaffarabad — cut communications, and banned the protest movement as “terrorist.”
Under the UN, India and Pakistan have the same status: both hold disputed territory. Neither has held the plebiscite. Kashmiris on both sides are demanding rights. Both states answer with bullets, then the same word: terrorist.
A garrison does not stop being a garrison when the uniform changes.
If occupation is a crime in Srinagar, it is a crime in Rawalakot.

On the assembly floor, former AJK Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has already said 100 people were killed.
Amnesty International has documented the crackdown, internet shutdown, mass arrests and deadly use of force.
UN Human Rights has called for prompt, impartial investigations into the deaths.
BBC, Al Jazeera and others have reported the killings from Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
If the IGP is telling the truth, he has nothing to hide.
Lift the restrictions. Open the internet.
Let international media enter. Allow a UN investigation.

This is hypocrisy!
At the UN, the Pakistani Prime Minister spoke for Kashmiris under Indian administration and for Palestine.
In Azad Kashmir, the same administration has killed Kashmiris, arrested hundreds, wounded hundreds, shut the internet for 116 days, seized activists’ properties and businesses — and now demolished Advocate Khawaja Mehran’s father’s Dera. Today they sent heavy machinery to flatten the family house in Dadyal. Locals resisted and pushed the forces back.
You cannot preach rights in New York and crush Kashmiris in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

Forces have demolished Advocate Khawaja Mehran’s dera (residence/compound) in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
His only “crime”: speaking for basic rights.
We used to hear that India demolishes Kashmiri homes on the other side and that Israeli forces demolish Palestinian homes.
Is Pakistan now following the same playbook in the territory it administers.?
