@taylorotwell It's kind of dependent on available budget/team/i-actually-have-a-full-day, isn't it? unless the goal is to build "paper planes" and not "actual planes"?
@aarondfrancis I often see such posts - HVAC/plumber guy owns a company & makes $$$. I feel that's often not true outside US. Where I'm from (Estonia), founders often grind 24/7 and struggle to make ends meet. Crazy considering a typical house costs about the same here as in States.
@magadum_aniket Depends on what the model represents. Orders and invoices are a good candidates, because it's perfectly valid use-case to create an order or invoice today with a future (or sometimes even past) date. In @sliptree I have a dedicated issued_at column for the invoice date.
@driesvints@moneytreesapp Congrats! π I remember when me and my ex-cofounder received our first payment - it was unbelievable. We spent it on a celebration dinner ππ₯³
@driesvints@sliptree I guess in my mind, I was thinking from my business perspective: I have a business, and the business has a name, address, VAT ID, etc. I guess it's a little unexpected for them to be spread over multiple screens in my head, but I see it commonly in US-based apps.
@valsopi Our family recently moved to countryside and I had a chance to walk 15 min with my kids to the bus stop at around 7am - in brisk, cool air, with the sun shining. Amazing!
Added Lithuanian, Belgian, Swedish and Norwegian business search to @sliptree.
If you add a new customer located in those countries, we now suggest matches from the national business registries and fill in company details like address, reg. codes, VAT numbers etc.
