This is a mandatory protocol update. The new rules activate at block 95,125, approximately seven days from now. Update your node or GUI wallet before that height. Older versions will no longer be compatible after activation.

The release corrects difficulty adjustment, adds compressed proof terminals and improves B25/B255 mining. It also brings GUI fixes, persistent address labels, faster synchronization and more reliable recovery when peers disconnect. P2P and mempool handling, Auto fees and wallet performance have been improved, with less duplicate work, fewer disk writes and fewer conflicts between pending transactions and mining payouts.

The post-quantum security analysis now includes tighter wallet soundness bounds and an updated Poseidon2b cryptanalysis audit. The recursive relation, matrices and cryptographic parameters remain unchanged. No data reset is needed. Your wallet and receipts are preserved.

He’s already in contact with GitHub support. If needed, the v1.1.0 activation block will be moved to give everyone enough time to update.

Shortly after publishing Parano1d v1.1.0, my GitHub profile https://t.co/mlXFcdj4oT and public repositories became inaccessible without warning. I've contacted @github support and am working to restore access.
If this isn't resolved within 24 hours, I will move v1.1.0 activation to a later block so everyone has enough time to download and install the update. I'll post updates here.

A real breakthrough in coding theory.

The Johnson radius has been the main algorithmic barrier for Reed-Solomon list decoding for almost thirty years. An autoresearch run with GPT-5 and Codex produced a Lean-verified result that crossed the exact finite bound for one concrete rate 1/2 code by about nine error positions.

Nine positions were enough to reveal the missing idea.

The proof used higher derivatives inside the interpolation argument without receiving derivative data from the codeword. Researchers extracted that idea and generalized it with help from GPT-5.6 Sol. The result is a deterministic algorithm that approaches list-decoding capacity for arbitrary evaluation sets over prime fields at low rates. The authors then independently verified every statement and proof.

This matters directly to FRI. Better list decoding and correlated agreement can reduce the number of queries needed for the same soundness. Fewer queries mean less opening data, less work inside the recursive verifier and smaller proofs.

For Parano1d, the research target is now concrete. Carry the technique into the binary extension fields and additive evaluation domains we use, then prove that the common agreement set survives every affine fold without candidate switching.

If that works, Parano1d can use fewer FRI queries and produce smaller recursive proofs without reducing security.

AI found a crack in a thirty-year barrier. Lean verified it. Mathematicians turned it into a general result.

I think we will remember this one.
