@MakaylaExner@KIN110UofR I agree that it is a huge step for equality in sport and I would be intrigued to see if any other women’s teams would do something similar to this as well, or even if a males team would mention something to show their support.
@Joey8214@KIN110UofR A new stadium would be a good idea for numerous reasons, however, the City of Regina would need to be careful with the budget so they don’t end up increasing citizen taxes like they did when Mosaic was being built since this could negatively impact how well the stadium does.
@matz_emmett@KIN110UofR I believe the renovation of the golf course is positive because it would encourage an active lifestyle in many individuals by getting them out of their homes to try something new. However, I think the money could have went to something to help more people be active.
@KIN110UofR I believe that the fans response to having 3 goals disallowed in yesterday’s game shows deviance in sport because not many areas of society allow this type of behaviour.
@KIN110UofR after talking about hazing in class I found an article that talks about one families struggle with the loss of their family member due to hazing. As well as more information on the effects. https://t.co/GHKXsqI7EQ

@KIN110UofR@KIN110UofR throughout high school I played almost every sport offered as a way to stay active and meet new people. Moving to a new city for university I have also relied on sports and physical activity to meet new people whether it’s at the gym, or in the stands.
@KIN110UofR compete, and can even earn an income or receive scholarships. By reading that passage my opinion on whether or not professional gaming should be considered a sport has changed, I believe that if the gamers are considered athletes then the gaming can be considered a sport.
@KIN110UofR I agreed with this articles opinion that competitive gaming is not a sport until I read a passage from the 7th edition of “Contemporary Sport Management”, where they state that the U.S government considers professional video gamers as individual athletes because they train,
