Is there a sub plot behind Trump's Greenland rheoteric: Trump is known to create noise across multiple theatres so that the audience does not know where his acting begins & where his real motivation lies.

We believe Trump's Greenland noise is all about getting Europe to the negotiating table with Russia on Ukraine issue. He has tried all means necessary but Europe seems never to end the Ukraine war. Could it be possible that Trump got on the horse of Greenland so that Europe can get off the horse of Ukraine war. We dont know yet. But it's plausible that using Greenland & tariffs as a threat, he gets Europe to agree to a full peace treaty on Ukraine.

Trump also knows that Suprme court is very likely to vote against his IEEPA tariffs. So why not use it to achieve his long desired objective of stopping Russia Ukraine war before the tariffs itself gets removed for technical reasons. By the time the tariffs get removed by SCOTUS (US Supreme Court), he might have gained enough negotiating space with EU to bring the war to a halt.

SCOTUS arguement day session is there today and tomorrow at 10 AM EST/ 3 PM BST. If there is no decision today & tomorrow on IEEPA tariffs, then the next date is 20th Feb (SCOTUS schedule below), a full 1 month window for the maximum utilisation of tariff threat by Trump.

All of it is again our conjecture only. Susie Wiles, current Chief of Staff for Trump is known for such sub plots during Trump campaign days as well as last year's tariff storm. Interesting times ahead.
