I'm thrilled to share that my first research paper, and even more special, my first ever "first author" paper, has been accepted for publication in the prestigious Astrophysical Journal!
Our work utilized high-resolution ALMA observations to achieve something groundbreaking: tracing an incredibly cold (a frigid -261.15ยฐC or 12 K!) and dense region within the protoplanetary disk GG Tau A โ a feat never accomplished before for this source!
3/3 This work offers a unique view into how exoplanets form in complex multi-star environments like GG Tau A, located about 150 parsecs away. Congrats to @parashmoniK, a true observer in the making!
2/3 Using ALMAโs high-res data, weโve zoomed in on the cold, dense regions of the GG Tau A disk to uncover where exoplanets gather their building blocks. We mapped key molecules, detecting rotational temperatures as low as 12K โ a first for this system!
1/3 Exciting times for my group as we explore the fascinating links between planet-forming disks and exoplanets! Check out our latest study led by my PhD student, @parashmoniK, accepted in ApJ! Read the full study here: https://t.co/BTdmp9Ddku
Webb is a worldwide telescope. ๐
This August 17-19, over 75 scientists from India and @NASA met at the Exoplanet Conference @IISERPune to talk about Webb data, exoplanets, and future science. These meetings help share ideas and feedback to make future discoveries possible.

@NhmJorhat My father has got the first dose of covaxin on 10th July. He is supposed to get the second dose of covaxin between 9th August to 23 August. How do we avail it? Also he is not in a condition to stand in que. Please reply as soon as possible.
@NhmJorhat@nhm_assam@DeputyJorhat I have taken the first dose of covaxin in Dibrugarh on 10th may. Now I'm in Jorhat and I cannot go to Dibrugarh for the second dose due to travel restrictions. Please help me availing the 2nd dose.
