Today is the #BaptismOfTheLord. In 2022, Pope Francis said this:

"We belong to Christ, we are joined to him through Baptism; His presence is in us, His light is in us, His life is in us. Let us therefore walk joyfully in hope sustained by his Word."

Hope is especially important this Jubilee year with it being a time for renewal as we travel as Pilgrims of Hope. ⤵️

My last St Nicholas Day at St Nicholas Catholic High School before I move onto my new position as Senior Deputy Headteacher. This was my 11th St Nicholas Day and having a mass made it really special. I had to check the emotions a couple of times today.

For two minutes, the school came together in silence and prayer to remember all the service men and women who have lost their lives as a result of conflict.
Ex-army member Mr Stephen Humphries read the Kohima epitaph and trumpet player Ed Smalley played the 'Reveille' beautifully
