However, if we know that a particular framework has either the same results (for typical students) or better results (for struggling students) so that ALL benefit instead of just some, I am not sure why you would want/need other tools

@HelenProulx2 @PublicEdMB I'd love to explore this more. Absolutely agree needs are complex and science and evidence evolve. Why do you think that we can't start by making change and moving forward, then evolve as we have more info, similar to health professionals? This is what science does.

@PublicEdMB @HelenProulx2 But to 'focus on the resources needed', you have to understand what is needed and why. You can't help but get drawn into the 'Reading Wars' if you point out that 'give children ALL the approaches, be it balanced or structured', is factually and scientifically incorrect.

@j_mcelroy Bike lanes basically seem to be a decoy to detract from actual issues in this city, like homelessness, drugs, and unaffordable housing. Such a middle class issue. Those who can't afford to live near Stanley Park and Beach Ave have other things to think about.

@vikkhanna Research shows optimal school size is ~350-400 students. https://t.co/wIIWtULzuY Quite a few @VSB39 schools have many more. Not optimal for student centred learning and too difficult to manage. Why can't we redefine boundaries so students get attention with better school size?
