These entitled freeloaders were warned weeks before the war broke out to leave, but they didn’t.

Then the moment the war started, it was “help, help.” Now the Indian Embassy is escorting them out of Tehran on arrangements made by the embassy, essentially at the taxpayer’s expense.

Soon they’ll be flown back, and once they reach here, some will complain that they didn’t get proper meals or Wi-Fi on the bus, while others will demand to be dropped at their homes.

The govt should bill them for the resources spent and the risks taken to evacuate them. Otherwise, this cycle of entitlement will continue forever.

Tamil is older than Sanskrit is a lie propagated by politicians including the PM for political appeasement.

Nowadays, it is being done by outside influence forces too to prop up Tamil chauvinism fuelled seperatism against India. When you talk of languages, there is only one way to look at true antiquity - to find when was it fist in use.

Sanskrit's use by scientific evidence predates Tamil by at least 1000 years. Now, in terms of written evidence, Tamil is older than Sanskrit by around 500 years.

But using that sort of evidence to claim antiquity is as silly as claiming C is older than Assembly programming because we can only find a computer file written in C but cannot find anything written in Assembly as all of it was keyed in directly, or written in paper that's lost.

Also if you claim Tamil is older than Sanskrit using written evidence (not a scientific way to claim), then those who claim have to simply accept Chinese, Egyptian, Babylonian are much older than Tamil :)

And let's also be clear. Sanskrit is NOT the oldest language in the world. Humans had languages much before Sanskrit and there are good scientific evidences for that as well.

Both Sanskrit and Tamil are some of the oldest languages in the World. They were highly structured andwell developed with a good corpus of literature by 500 BCE. And still in use (Please don't be that ignorant chauvinist claiming Sanskrit is not in use. It is in every Hindu ritual and by some people as well. Taught in schools and being learned by at least a million right now).

Indians need to be proud of both Sanskrit and Tamil. In fact, it is said both were created at the same time by Shiva as he started beating his Damaru.
