Don’t Treat an Agreement with Iran Like a a Real Estate Deal | by D. Netanyahu
The American rush to reach an agreement with Iran reveals dangerous ignorance, political blindness, and a naive belief that any conflict can be resolved by signing a document — even with a regime that has no intention of honoring it.

What about the Iranian people? We promised to help them. Among other things, we should have armed them (the Reagan Doctrine). What now? Anything? The MOU is silent.
What about the Lebanese Christians, who have wanted to be rid of Hezbollah for 40-years and take back their country from Iran? The MOU ensures Hezbollah's (meaning Iran's) continuing control over that country, and existential threat to Israel.

Reading Trump's post confirms one thing: he still doesn't understand the Middle East. In this region, destroying some military hardware while leaving the regime, its ideology, its missile program, its proxies, and its terrorist networks intact is like announcing victory over ISIS because you blew up a few pickup trucks. The Islamic regime terrorized the region long before it needed a serious navy or air force. It hit the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Israel, and others with drones, missiles, militias, and proxies. Hezbollah still exists. The networks still exist. The ideology still exists. The regime still exists.
Then you call it a win and potentially hand the same regime hundreds of billions of dollars? That's not "peace through strength." That's paying the arsonist after he burned down the neighbourhood.
Your friends expected leadership. Your enemies expected pressure. Instead, your friends got disappointment, and your enemies got a deal better than they could have dreamed of.
And please stop selling Iran's economic misery as a newly created success story. Iran's economy has been a wreck for decades, and ordinary Iranians have suffered for 47 years. You didn't create that reality you just tried to package it as an achievement.
IDF Spokesperson:
In several separate incidents overnight, the Hezbollah terrorist organization carried out more than 50 launches toward IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon.
These attacks constitute repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement by the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
The IDF will not tolerate attacks on Israeli civilians or its forces and will respond forcefully to any aggression directed against them.
Item #1 in the MOU provides there’s an immediate and permanent end to the war and that includes Hezbollah in Lebanon. Iran is Hezbollah. What’s the enforcement mechanism? Nothing. Israel defends itself after constant attacks from Hezbollah and is admonished for it. Its interests are not aligned with ours, we’re told. It’s endangering the peace deal. This is beyond nuts.
It's interesting to see how many support JD Vance now that he has made hostile comments about Israel. I remain disappointed in him and I KNOW I am not alone in that regard.
If your solution to the crisis in Iran is packaging $300 billion and thinking you're doing the Iranian people a favor, you are completely delusional.
Stop reducing our struggle to economic frustration. Iranians didn’t take to the streets and fight a brutal terrorist state with their bare hands over money.
Just look at the people the regime killed: athletes, doctors, artists, dentists, engineers, and other high income professionals. Many had successful lives, yet they risked everything in pursuit of freedom.
They died because we fundamentally reject the extremist ideology of the Islamic Republic. It is truly sickening to watch our people bleed to defeat this terror, while global politicians embrace it with appeasement and financial deals.
I really tespect Senator Graham. I really do.
But he reads the map wrong. Totally wrong:
The goal of this war was (in the exact words of .@SecRubio :
"To prevent Iran from projecting power beyond its borders"
The results are that Iran is now projecting power on Israel and Lebanon not by firing missiles on northern Israel - but by twisting Americas hand to pressure Israel to withdraw.
Plus, it has freed up cash to send more to Hizbullha.
"Dad, I'm burning..."
Those were the last words of 28-year-old Negin Ghadimi.
She stepped outside to protect her father. One step later, she was shot.
She died in her father's arms.
Help was never on the way.

This should not be a surprize to anyone.
On Feb 26th - the Iranian had the unknown threat of war - yet they didn't cave in.
I have wrote an article in Maariv, that, in their mind - they would prefer a post-war negotiation, after they prove that they can withstand an attack - and thus would not capitulate.
Now, from a position of strength they will demand more:
More money
More influance on the region
and...more Uranium.
Yes. To dilute the HEU there is a need of about 20-30 tons of regular Uranium. There is no such quantity in Iran itself - so for the sake of this make belief peace don't be surprized if .@SEPeaceMissions and .@jaredkushner will propose importing more Uranium into Iran instead of taking it out and @JDVance will explain that is only done for diluting thd HEU and the 20% enriched as well.
You need to think in real estate term not in national security lens. Everything is business. Everything for sale.

⚡️🇺🇸🇮🇷🇶🇦 WSJ: The U.S. and Qatar are working on a plan to give Iran access to billions of dollars in frozen assets for humanitarian spending, marking one of the first financial incentives outlined in the recently negotiated U.S.-Iran agreement.
The plan, still under development, would start with $6 billion currently held in Qatar, allowing Iran’s central bank to purchase food, medicine, and other humanitarian supplies.
Iran holds an estimated $100 billion in globally frozen assets, primarily cash from oil exports immobilized by sanctions. Iran had been seeking the release of up to $24 billion as a key condition for advancing the peace deal.
