@BRuHeartsDarwin Yes, it’s always easy to tell they’re nearby! A pair of red-shouldered hawks has also been spotted at the bottom of Klingle Valley Trail. They might both be Walt and Libby, and they’re just moving around during the day, or maybe the local hawk population is growing!

Early on Monday afternoon, a pair of red-shouldered hawks soared high above where Massachusetts Ave meets Macomb St, probably looking for lunch.

On Friday morning, two red-shouldered hawks circled high in the clear skies above #GloverArchboldPark. After shooing away a turkey vulture, the pair flew off toward the Cathedral.

Red-shouldered hawks continue to make daily appearances in the sycamore trees of #GloverArchboldPark along Massachusetts Ave. Still unclear if they're looking to settle down in the area, or just looking for breakfast.

@ellenpcampbell Thanks for the tip, Ellen! As of Friday afternoon the nest was still there, though the tenants had yet to move in. There is a sprig of green sitting in the nest that might help you find it next time you go to look.
