@Theme_ParkNerd@SemithePhantom@TPRBrandon The land where the parking lot was built is theirs. They have never owned the other parcels. In the concept you’ve shared, you can even see there’s only theme park stuff on the parcel highlighted in green below.
@JohnTheMon2@Stigg00@ElToroRyan@bioreconstruct The area by the CityWalk waterfront has been referred to as the “spike area” multiple times during the foundation and concrete work inspection process.
@PNDA_Music@scottwalker88 It’s an amended NoC from 2024, not anything new. There’s an explanation under the bold AMENDED NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT near the top. Universal has been amending dozens of Epic NoCs that originally expired on Dec 31st, 2025, likely due to ongoing work/support on these projects.
@SaxOnTracks The document pictured here is for the new coaster at USF - so yes, it absolutely will be finished before the Disney projects you mentioned 🤣
New permit calls for utilities and foundation work at Epic Universe for a 150,000sqft addition. Could this be Epic Universe's first attraction expansion?
@ShaneWinReports@ParkWizar1@OTPZ_TP The scope and fees are identical, sans the Cost Based demolition fee. Plus, the plan review notes specifically call out the Poseidon and Sinbad building numbers.
@ParkWizar1 Trademarks aren’t location specific. This is a new filing because it’s for the words “Mega Movie Summer” - the previous filing was for “Universal Mega Movie Summer”
Recently filed demolition permit for Universal Project 555. Nearly a 5 acre project calling for the demolition of retail, show and attraction buildings. Could this be for the replacement of Lost Continent/Sinbad/Poseidon?
@ShaneWinReports This is an amendment to the NoC originally filed on May 13th. It has the same June 30th expiration date as before - it just had three additional permits added to its scope. PCL is the general contractor, so this NoC is for the entire project, and not just the demolition.
@bioreconstruct Looks like the divers are in the early stages of setting the pylons that will support the new deck/building for this show. And I believe the taller platform (3) is for a soon-to-be-installed temporary tent that will be used for show testing.
@eric_besty I'm back to thinking it's Intamin after looking at more photos - haha. Can't find any Mack's where the support column continues through the spine, but that's almost always the case with Intamin's triangle track...
MACK: Intamin:
@eric_besty A very large shipment from Intamin also arrived a little over a month ago for P903 (HTTYD) - but now that I've seen some comparison photos in this thread I agree this looks more like Mack track.
