@freddiemerc679@chaserpent@haleyp Agree- Florida hotels are way overpriced. We just stayed 5 nights in an AirBnB south of Tampa that came with kayaks, dolphins in the lagoon, private beach & beach toys for cheaper than 2 nights in a hotel.
@haleyp In smaller US towns, hotels are either few and costly or you’re sleeping between a gas station and a Cracker Barrel on the interstate. I’d rather AirBnB someplace where I can walk to shops and decent food.
@J_BeltonII@1Moment4u Our HS of 1400 students doesn’t have daily homeroom or use lockers. Students come straight from the bus to class- with phones that distract them all day.
@FLAVAWeb@_SCOLT_@MFLAMD@GWATFL @FLAGeorgia @KWLAonline@SCFLTA Fangirling over all of the cool world language educators & excited for my 1st time attending @_SCOLT_ and 1st time presenting. Come Decolonize Your French Curriculum with me at 4:10 Friday!

A5: Same as A4- I’m hoping to present (for the 1st time ever) on decolonizing French curriculum at FLANC this year! We teach our students that French is spoken in 29 countries, but do we teach them WHY? #langchat
@AggieAshley@TFLA_Tweets Interesting! Many of my students are African, Vietnamese and Caribbean immigrants, so I’m passionate about topics that engage my learners.
