This won’t stop pubs closing. Things have a natural cycle. Who would have thought PSTN would be switched off by January 2027 and terrestrial broadcasting could be switched off by 2034. Whole services have disappeared. More knowledge based jobs will disappear replaced by AI. I’ve told my grandchildren train to be an engineer, plumber or electrician. Pubs will go the same way.

Why would you take it on? Do really think she wax talking to you. If I took on any negative thing that people said about me, I wouldn’t get out of bed. You have a point that work should be able to keep you without claiming benefits. However there are people who won’t work because they are able to manipulate the system
