Is that really a success?

Task completion tells you where the call ended. It doesn’t tell you how the agent got there.For production voice agents, both matter.

I have. And not once, but repeatedly.

N-I-K-K-I-T-H-A.

And these aren't really edge cases. Such failures make real humans hang up in the first five seconds.

If you're not testing for this before going live, then your agent just isn't ready.

Not many people who meet me know, that I prepared for UPSC for three years before starting my company.

I couldn't clear the exam.

But in hindsight, the grit I inadvertently developed during the prep, helped me scale my first venture to $2M in annual revenue, and is still helping me build @SuperBryn_AI .

Will Voice AI get commoditized the way transcription did?

No.

Transcription is one component. Voice AI is an entire real-time system that has to listen, reason, speak and react to a human continuously.

But here's the key learning for all of us building in public: don't use AI slop. Just post the real photos. The story is strong enough on its own. You don't need polished renders when the work speaks for itself.

Sad to see this blow up. I've known the @dodopayments team from the very scratch of their journey. Watched them go from 0 to 1, and now 1 to 10. Growing the team, splitting across spaces, shipping an awesome product. The growth is real and that's what matters.

i'm late to share this.

we moved into a new @dodopayments office in indiranagar. 3x bigger than our last one.

a year ago we went from a 9-seater to a 30-seater thinking we'd have room for a while. we didn't. the team outgrew it fast enough that we had to split up. my team stayed in the original office, @goelrishabh's team moved into the antler office.

took two months to find the right space. now everyone's back under one roof.

it's not really about the office. it's about what the office means. more merchants, a stronger product, and a team that keeps outgrowing every space we put it in.

and it won't just be ours. we're opening it up to bangalore builders. build irl ep 1 already happened here.
