I love US and I still believe it's the best place in the history of humanity to do business
But not too sure about faceless/nameless American trolls
indiranagar has been home for me for the past few months.
from founders in cafes to the spots everyone gatekeeps, there’s always something happening here.
so decided to cover it all at ~ https://t.co/WiPQEJcSU3 ~
a monthly neighbourhood newspaper w/ @Naina_2728 and @innercircle_so.
purchasing power parity is now live on @dodopayments.
$20 is a small purchase in the US and a large one in the philippines. same price, very different ask. PPP fixes that automatically.
each country has a percentage of your list price. india is 30, so a $20 product sells for $6 there. the US is 100, so nothing changes.
no banner. no script on your site. no discount codes to create, rotate or revoke. the price is just correct at checkout, based on billing country.
defaults come from world bank price level index data across 217 countries, rounded to the nearest 5 and floored at 30. you can change any of them.
it's per-product, so you can opt in your starter plan and leave enterprise alone. works for one-time, subscriptions, and the fixed fee on usage-based.
one thing to watch: discount codes stack on top. a 30% country plus a 20% code leaves you 24% of list price.
needs adaptive currency turned on first.
