@SahilRiz True, but I think a) the NBA has been around much longer and b) a more apt comparison might be the Indian teams in terms of measuring fandom and cultural footprint. Not sure if a league that’s not the main way the sport is played for 10 months of the year will ever compete
🎙️| Legendary #Tottenham Captain Son Heung-Min on Europa-League winning #Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou:
“We won the trophy together as captain and coach. This is special. This relationship is going to be with me until we die. Every coach is good at helping players on the pitch, but Ange was very helpful off the pitch as well. He taught me a lot about being a leader.”🏆
“He was really helpful and I miss him.” 🤍🇦🇺🇰🇷
🎙️| #Tottenham Legend Son Heung-Min on their final day survival: "Watching the game I was just as anxious and nervous as if I were out there playing on the pitch myself, when Everton got the ball, I would start shaking.
It's a team I have a lot of affection for. It was emotionally difficult watching #Spurs throughout this season. I often found myself wondering if I had left (the team) too early. I hope they can deliver a much better and more comfortable season to the fans next year" 🤍🇰🇷
Overwhelming sense of relief not jubilation. A disgraceful season that can't be forgotten just because they got away with it. Totally unacceptable and heads must roll this summer amongst the hierarchy. This can never happen again.
@Stevemann84 @gothambathero@mitch_fretton crazy how everyone forgets his 90+4 down low save at point blank range in the final - he’s a great shot stopper when confident
Ange was responsible for everything. Frank is responsible for nothing. Sorry to keep going on etc etc but it's constantly mind-blowing for me, the difference in treatment.
I don't know which A.V. Club veteran needs to hear this right now but just wanna say when I get to a show ten years late, I still seek out and read the recaps from when it aired
I’m sorry, but I can’t get behind this way of playing.
It feels cowardly, and it’s boring to watch.
I want to feel proud of how my team plays.
Sitting deep with no desire to keep the ball or take the game into our own hands doesn’t do that. It just leaves me feeling ashamed.
no one can ever make me hate ange postecoglou. if his time is over soon in football, i hope he takes a much deserved break. forever cemented a tottenham legend and always will be grateful for his time with us.
