Storm Petrel caught and ringed with two others this week at Portencross, Ayrshire. These are flying around the coast of Scotland but are rarely seen. They only weigh 26g but spend the winter in the Atlantic. Amazing!

House Sparrow(VZ12608) retrapped today in Partick. Originally ringed August 2017 still sporting his rings 1403 days later.8 new Birds ringed today please keep a look out.

The Partick Colour Ringed House Sparrow Project -2021 Season starts with an old friend being retrapped. VZ12119 was ringed 21st Jan 2017 in Partick, still happily flying around Peel Street, 1604 days later. Please keep a lookout anywhere in Glasgow as the young fledge.
