@daviditapper I don’t think theoretical reason can provide such desire. It lacks motivational power.
whatever is the motivation that drives the development of human capacities, I don’t know, however, the vehicle which that development happens through is instrumental reason.
How America wins matters. As global hegemon, America could dominate its neighbors and coerce its allies. Or it can promote cooperation through international institutions and alliances. I would rather see an America that’s respected by its allies.
@Luan75937152@TrueSlazac@capt_calhoun The point is self-determination. The people of China couldn’t elect another government. They are stuck with the CCP. So, popularity can’t be the basis of legitimacy.
Liberal democracy is required for legitimacy because it doesn’t institute an ideology. Doing so would severely limit self-determination. A liberal democracy can be nationalist or could be socialist. However, it doesn’t impose a set ideology which can’t be deterred from.
@capt_calhoun Liberal democracy is a requirement for the state to be legitimate, if the leader is not picked by the people you can’t have “self determination”
Animation quality isn’t dependent on money.
It depends on the skill of the animator and the time given to them. You can throw money at a project but if you don’t give your animators time they can’t produce quality animation.Unless your 1950s America, they were built different.
Fans are confused on why ‘INVINCIBLE’ has worse animation than ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ with 10x the animation budget.
$150K animation vs. $2.5 Million animation
