Introducing Gemini 4 Argon – our new frontier model.
It’s built for complex workflows across coding, enterprise knowledge work, and cybersecurity defense – rolling out today to a set of trusted testers through our Fairwind Program.
Opus 5.5 scores higher with xhigh than it does with max.
I HIGHLY recommend avoiding "max" reasoning, it will hurt more than it will help with this model.
yay! agent repo-levle instructions finally converging - one AGENTS.md for Claude Code, Codex and other agents. hope one day we will get same pattern for skills in .agents folder being applied across all agents
We're adding support for AGENTS.md to Claude Code.
Starting today in version 2.1.277, if there is no CLAUDE.md in a folder, Claude will check for and use AGENTS.md.
You can toggle this behavior in /config.
even I still do prefer Codex, Cursor - I am also using Antigravity on daily basis - Google is catching up, giving a ton of usage with their Gemini Flash models - worth to keep eye 👀
@claudeai This is first step of consolidation. Next one be merge with Claude Code as well. The only toggle left will be agent should work locally or in cloud
even I love using computer-use / bowser-use, both approaches should be the last resort for legacy tools without APIs - not the default architecture. it is still expensive and not as fast as programatic approach
I might be wrong, but I am not bullish on computer use.
The models are insanely smart. But we are forcing them to watch a screen, find a button, click it, wait, and check the result. All through an interface designed for humans.
The token economics and speed are just not good.
Computer use still makes sense for legacy software with no API or agent interface. Sometimes there is no other option.
But for any sort of modern software, I think we should give agents something they can use directly: structured data, APIs, terminals, SSH, and permissioned access to the environment.
Agents can read thousands of lines of logs and parameters easily. Why make them click through Chrome?
Thank you all for your replies!
Just sent @bot codes to a bunch of you — a few use cases that stood out:
For growth & clients:
→ Find leads, draft outreach, and turn wins into case studies @kouroshbaloo
→ Build a competitor comparison matrix with sources @PaulWeissAI
For ops & shipping:
→ Monitor hundreds of ad accounts and catch broken signup/payment flows @yashjain10k
→ Watch Jira, flag blockers, and draft the weekly status update @partykma
→ Triage support tickets, draft replies, and escalate with full context @jurlycat
→ For hotel owners: regularly test the booking flow so website booking errors get caught @LeenCanvas
→ Automate paperwork and back-office workflows for an electrical contracting business @kerwinv101
For research & content:
→ Monitor AI builders on X, verify sources, then turn wins into hooks and scripts @jenni489471
→ A research desk for AI that turns noise into a daily brief @Orynsky
Will run this again if I get more codes. Meanwhile consider subscribing to my YouTube below :)

Write Things Down
Writing things down is powerful, for humans and for AI; what comes first, however, is what to write, why to do it, and actually getting things done.

@petergyang Work use case that’s stuck for me: a bot that watches project status across Jira tickets, flags blockers, and drafts the weekly status update
@petergyang after using Grok Bot for a few hours, I don't see any more need for me to run automations locally. cloud is most natural place to run scheduled tasks
I am so confused why people don't understand this, I keep getting these replies
Don't you get it?
Normies don't vibe code, they just ask something like "do my bookkeeping" or "file my tax" or "organize a movie night and send invites" or "generate a flyer for movie night" or "edit my video"
They don't ever see code, vibe code, or do anything with code, their AI chat app just does it for them
Most of the software layer has already disappeared or will completely disappear for normies
Just like building personal homepages permanently disappeared for normies when Facebook launched ~2005
A lot like this picture where functions of individual devices all got replaced with a single device
Same happening with apps now
Every day, I get a lot of of emails and messages like this one. I try to respond to as many as I can.
Sharing my response below, for anyone else in a similar situation. What do you think?
