@TristanUda@EvanMiya Media is lower on us than Evan, and I think even he would agree that his model is likely low on Alex Wilkins because of the turnovers last season. Will be interesting to see what ends up happening!
@bracketballio I think BBN would understand if we have a year like Florida had and then get upset in R32 (this is not a prediction but a point on putting job security only on NCAAT results).
@JonRothstein@FDSportsbook@FanDuelResearch Teams I think Kentucky will be better than (biased homer take):
- Arizona
- Virginia
- Texas
- Arkansas
FWIW I think Louisville will be better than those teams, too.
@matthewwinick I will absolutely bet on Zoom and Wilkins being successful at kicking to open shooters this season. Zoom was one of the best in the country in the midrange last season. Gotta account for that threat rather than point toward his rim rate as if it's in a vacuum.
@matthewwinick That's a pretty strange take. Two playmakers in the backcourt, two great shooters on the wing, and a skilled and mobile 7 footer seem to fit pretty well to me. Defense and rebounding are fair questions that will need to be answered.
@RobDauster We would definitely need some players to be better than expected to be up with the likes of Florida & Duke, but I'm confident this team is competitive at the highest level and has a realistic shot at elite 8/final 4. If we can please just stay healthy
@DrDiGiorgio Single payer --> larger negotiating power + simplification --> lower costs. One may disagree with the degree to which this will lower costs in the US or point out trade offs such as potential changes to biomedical advancement incentives, but it's not a stupid argument.
