In response to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of #Dubai, and the follow-up of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, to complete the development of road infrastructure to maintain the fast pace of development witnessed by Dubai, #RTA has been awarded a contract for the Hessa Street Improvement Project, from the intersection with Sheikh Zayed Road to the intersection with Al Khail Road. The project features revamping four main intersections along Hessa Street in order to facilitate transportation and provide the best experience for all road users in the emirate, and also includes constructing a 13.5-kilometre cycling track.
