@gminoprio This is something we’re actively working on. The newly introduced HCE option is fraught with challenges from getting the entitlement to dealing with a diminished UX. It’s best to stay in the wallet, as biased as that may sound. More details here: https://t.co/jFFlCvLCkK
Things I've wrangled with that I think can hit huge growth inflection points.
1. https://t.co/fEO4Ug2NID - near native speed. Write once, compile once, deploy once, runs everywhere.
2. https://t.co/susuZQEkIr - If you're still running oldschool AWS.
3. https://t.co/Kjck19D98v - Add NFC capabilities to your product
4. https://t.co/kMI90Z2uXQ - scraping data from any website
5. https://t.co/Mk7scjuI9u - write algo trades for options, crypto, and stocks... also build your own brokerage app with their api.
6. https://t.co/0i2HHfSvwf - access control for google drive and microsoft 365.

.@pass_ninja recently published a tutorial that details how to configure the SocketScan S550 to support their Apple VAS Wallet passes: https://t.co/BTauEEVEoI
@EwRecK86 While looking thru the latest iOS17.4 Beta docs we found that HCE is becoming available for the EU… your dev account has to get approved with a special entitlement by Apple, which may be difficult, but seems possible 🙌🏼

@pass_ninja Thank you for your fast and great answers regarding NFC functionality on Apple iOS.
Do you think Apple will ever open up for HCE for developers, outside what they opened for payments in the EU?
@EwRecK86 It’s unlikely Apple will open HCE for developers based on what we’ve learned from them. They want to preserve the Apple Wallet experience so HCE will need to be funneled through it. We tend to agree since the HCE experience on Android can be overly complex and unpleasant.
