@puddikitty We are total strangers and I appreciate your cute animal pictures and doodles just in passing. I would notice if you stopped posting. The people in your life who are actually close to you care far more than that :)
@Dellemah And none of that means that Jews or really anyone isnt without risk. But from my perspective, you have more to fear as a woman than as a Jew. Theres a very concentrated effort going on of stripping civil rights backwards, beginning from the south. So I'd avoid there at least lol
@Dellemah I would say it has already started, and that they will make a scapegoat out of a minority group that doesnt have a lot of solidarity from other groups (similar to Jews in 1930s Germany). In current times, that ends up being the new media fraud of "trans book readings"/"grooming"
@RaphDeslandes Draw an outside perspective of the physical embodiment of your comfort zone. Not a drawing of something that is in your comfort zone, but the actual Z O N E. What would it looks like?
@puddikitty Yeah that's a really frustrating situation and it's hard to work through those kinds of feelings. My thought would be that even if it's not possible now and you dont feel like you can do it, it doesn't mean it will always be that way. Healing is slow, so be patient with yourself
@puddikitty I dont know everything you're going through so any advice I give is out of touch. But what really helped me start to avoid that whiplash of ups and downs was being a bit more stoic about expectations. I started assuming bad things would go better and good things would go bad
@puddikitty For me, Ive noticed that what seems to cause that sort of relapse is specifically dissapointment for things I was excited about. Things would improve, I'd get hopeful and optimistic, then something would go bad and I would spiral into that mindset of "I was dumb to be hopeful"...
