@mnolangray I've already left and I'm not coming back. I wanted the American dream but I wasn't allowed, so I took it to the UK. Ironically I somehow pay less in taxes here, make more money, and am far less stressed out about immigration.

@dieworkwear I would agree if these are the only two options but it is kind of a false dichotomy, there are a lot of low stress higher paying jobs. The issue is you have to invest time to learn new things to find new jobs and you're unlikely to land one on your first try

If the grant was used to "promote atheism", that would be without the authorization of USAID, i.e. grounds to revoke funds.
@poetengineer__ Apart from the high quality articles, the re-imagined peer review gave me hope for a more straightforward publication process in academia.
