Hello everyone,

My family and I have been stranded in Kuwait since February 28.

We were flying to New York and then Canada with Kuwait Airways, but 30 minutes after takeoff our plane was forced to turn back because missiles were launched and the conflict began.

Since then we have been hearing sirens, missiles, and drones being intercepted.

I contacted Global Affairs Canada, the emergency SOS line, my MP, and Canadian officials asking for help but we have received no response.

Canadian Hindu Volunteers strongly condemns the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, where Hindu pilgrims and tourists were hunted, religiously profiled, and slaughtered, their only ‘crime’ being their faith. According to preliminary reports, the Pakistan-backed terrorist group The Resistance Front (TRF) is believed to be behind this bloodshed, where at least 28 innocent people, including women, children, and even foreign tourists were murdered, and many more injured.

Victims were reportedly forced to recite Islamic verses, checked for circumcision, and killed based on their religious identity, a grotesque echo of genocidal ideologies that have no place in any civilized society. The timing of this massacre, coinciding with U.S. Vice President JD Vance’s visit to India, is not a coincidence it’s a message from Pakistan-sponsored terrorists that the free world must not ignore.

We call on leaders of all democratic nations to stop treating terrorism with diplomatic gloves. Pakistan continues to operate as a global terror factory, exporting death and destruction across borders with impunity. This latest horror must serve as a final wake-up call.

There should be no fear of terrorists, only fear in terrorists. The civilized world must come together to annihilate these ideological vermin and their state sponsors, just as it once did with ISIS and Al-Qaeda. We stand with the Indian forces and the families of the victims, and we support a response so resolute and overwhelming that it forever deters those who even think of harming the innocent.

Enough platitudes. It’s time for action.
