I used to see it as impressive to qualify... until i turned down a '22 slot having walked the marathon with injury. If you can walk and qualify, it's too easy.

@DSS123 @bbculp @IRONMANtri @TriathleteMag I think reduce the overall numbers of WC slots to give the race more credibility, then it can go back being held on one day. (Fewer athletes = Less drafting too). But that would require integrity over financial greed on the part of Ironman. 🤷🏼‍♂️
