🚨BREAKING: (Chicago suburb) An ICE agent just shot a protester outside the Broadview ICE facility… and then drove away.

In the video, ICE agents were leaving the Broadview ICE facility when one agent stopped, aimed a pepper ball gun at a protester, who was standing on a public sidewalk… not blocking the vehicle, or obstructing anything… and shot them in the abdomen.

Then, they just kept driving.

The protester had to be treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital.

Now, imagine if an ordinary U.S. citizen pulled up, shot someone with a pepper ball gun, and drove away... Police would be looking for them. There would be arrests, charges, and headlines calling it what it was…

Assault.

But when it’s a federal agent?

And this isn’t even the first time something like this has happened.

We’ve watched ICE agents assault protesters with pepper spray, from their vehicles, and keep driving. We’ve watched people exercising their constitutional rights become targets. We’ve watched it happen over and over again.

So, where is the accountability?

Peacefully protesting, on a public sidewalk, is protected by the First Amendment. Using force against someone, who poses no immediate threat, is a direct violation of that right.

And every single person in this country should be demanding answers.

Because if federal agents can shoot a peaceful protester, drive away, and face no consequences…

Then we no longer have equal justice under the law. We have one set of rules for the government, and another for everyone else.

BREAKING: Trump brags about turning the historic White House into a bulletproof, drone-port FORTRESS — as he keeps destroying America's most iconic home
Donald Trump just stood at the White House and boasted about the "tremendous military center" and massive ballroom he's building — continuing his relentless assault on one of the most historic and beloved buildings in America.

Speaking to reporters, Trump described a project that sounds less like a restoration of America's home and more like the construction of a paranoid dictator's bunker: "Any glass windows that are this thick that can withstand any form of shot, rifle, drone, anyone, nothing gets through. Steel walls, steel ceiling, extra strength."

Steel walls. Steel ceilings. Bulletproof, drone-proof, and — in his words — "missile-proof." And the pièce de résistance: "Can you believe we have a drone port?" A DRONE PORT. On the roof of the White House.

This is the People's House — a building steeped in 225 years of American history — being converted into an armored fortress to soothe Trump's fixations.

And let's remember what this "beautiful" project actually required: TEARING DOWN the historic East Wing. Trump bulldozed a piece of American history dating back to 1902 to make way for a $600 million ballroom he insists is being built "for other presidents" — the same justification he used for slapping his name on the Kennedy Center before a judge ordered it removed.

He also let slip the funding scandal in real time, whining that "no matter what you do, you get sued... especially if your name is Trump." He's being sued because reporting revealed he RAIDED $352 million from the Secret Service — money meant for agent training after two assassination attempts — to help pay for it, after promising it would be entirely privately funded.

The East Wing isn't the only casualty. Trump already paved over the historic Rose Garden to build a Mar-a-Lago-style patio. He’s tearing up the South Lawn to install a helipad. He's also floated a 250-foot "Arc de Trump" taller than North Korea's dictator monument, topped with a giant fist recalling his response to his Pennsylvania assassination attempt, that would block the views of Arlington Cemetery.

This is a pattern. Everywhere Trump looks in Washington, he sees not history to be preserved but a monument to be built to himself — in gold, steel, and concrete.

The White House has survived wars, fires, and 46 presidents. Now it's being gutted and armored to feed one man's ego and paranoia.
