After mass protests toppled PM K.P. Sharma Oli and left 51 dead, Nepal’s Gen Z used a Discord vote to elect former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as their pick for interim Prime Minister.

7,713 votes were cast before Karki hit 50%. Welcome to democracy 2.0.

Her anti-corruption rep won her the top spot, but critics say her ties to the old regime raise red flags. Even so, independent mayor and rapper Balen Shah gave her a full endorsement - which, in Nepali politics right now, is basically divine anointment.

Meanwhile, over 12,000 prisoners are still on the loose, cities are scorched, and the youth movement insists the violence wasn’t them.

Recently, I turned on the iCloud backup in my Mac and now all the files in my Documents folder are gone missing. This is very confusing and very disappointing. I tried looking for support but @Apple doesn't seem to provide support or anything. Frustrating.
