For further clarification, PATH has not provided, and does not provide syringe exchange services in MacArthur Park.
@OfAthenry Christopher Johnson’s employment with PATH concluded on September 16, 2025. PATH is outraged and deeply disturbed that an individual would falsely represent themselves as a current employee.
On top of tariffs and HR1 threatening healthcare and food security, the administration is now proposing drastic funding changes at HUD. These cuts would strip critical resources from supportive services and building affordable homes, causing more homelessness.
President Trump says he ‘“doesn’t want to hear about affordability,” but I do. Thank you to the community leaders and nonprofits who joined me for a roundtable discussion on the affordability crisis as families struggle to afford groceries and other bills this Thanksgiving.

The bill now goes to an Assembly floor vote, then back to the Senate for concurrence.
Today, we jointly asked the San Diego County Board of Supervisors to strategically deploy a portion of their reserves to offset some of these devastating cuts.
PATH recently joined with nonprofits from various sectors who will be heavily impacted by Federal cuts to form a Basic Needs Coalition to advocate for the protection of lifesaving programs for the most vulnerable individuals.
