This is @flyaway47 tweeting for Ken. I'm sorry to say Ken passed away about 7 pm (EST) on Thurs, Jan 26, 2023. He had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last summer. It moved very fast. He hadn't been tweeting lately because he was too sick.
Questions are okay.

From @flyaway47:
For anyone who may still be following… Today would have been Ken's 60th birthday. Last year he'd been recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, but had begun chemo and was eager to make it at least this milestone.
Please say his name.
I had kept the ashes of our last two cats, and decided to put them together. Ken loved them so much, especially funny Valentino—it feels good to know that they're together.
A friend helped me dig, and we sang the beautiful UU hymn "Spirit of Life".
The closure helps.
This is @flyaway47. I wanted to let Ken's friends know that the researchers have completed their work with him and returned his ashes to me. He was always a homebody, so rather than scatter them, I buried them in a quiet corner of the garden. He is finally in pain-free rest. RIP.
I need to tweet to keep this account alive as a memorial account, so I'll be doing this frim time to time. (See pinned tweet if you hadn't heard abiut Ken's death.)

In Budapest there's a fountain that looks like a book: every few seconds a sheet of water blasts forth from the book's spine, arcing from one side to the other, creating the illusion that an invisible force is turning the pages of this marble tome [video: https://t.co/lhU1OEg6UU]
On January 3, 1841, writer Herman Melville ships out on the whaler Acushnet to the South Seas. Melville used his time on the Acushnet as background for his novel Moby Dick. Herman Melville is listed as a crew member near the bottom of the page.
