@SunnyAnderson My nephew was moved when I told him his 80 year old grandmother knew he was gay, although she didn't use that exact word. I asked her if she loved him any less and she said she was worried the world wouldn't be kind to him. Please world. Be kind.

Congress needs to establish an investigative body like the 9/11 Commission to determine Trump's ties to Putin so we can repair the damage to our national security and prevent a puppet from occupying the presidency ever again.
Thank you! I would be nowhere without the women whose footsteps I dance in. While reciting my poem, I wore a ring with a caged bird—a gift from @Oprah for the occasion , to symbolize Maya Angelou, a previous inaugural poet. Here’s to the women who have climbed my hills before.
With her strong and poignant words, @TheAmandaGorman reminds us of the power we each hold in upholding our democracy. Keep shining, Amanda! I can't wait to see what you do next. 💕 #BlackGirlMagic

On a day for the history books, @TheAmandaGorman delivered a poem that more than met the moment. Young people like her are proof that "there is always light, if only we're brave enough to see it; if only we're brave enough to be it."
@altonbrown Love coriander. So bright with citrus notes. Hate cilantro. Mixed with raw onions it tastes like what I imagine how lighter fluid must taste.
